Hello,I know little about GPS units (although I have used them). My housecleaner always has new clients and gets lost a lot. I’d like to buy her a GPS.She is mostly computer illiterate and not great with electronics, so I’d like to find her a simple, easy-to-use GPS without a lot of extras. She just needs to get from point A to B in Seattle. I could likely use my computer to keep it upgraded. (I’m reasonably techy.)I’d like to keep it under $200. I’m not sure if that is reasonable.thank you!

I need a holster (the part that holds the GPS onto a windshield mount) for a Garmin with the larger screen (Nuvi 2555lmt). All of the photos on Amazon show the holster for the smaller case unit (can be identified by the different slot key in the lower arm of the holster). Can not find any help on this from Garmin or the other usual parts sources. Anybody have a suggestion where/how to look?

The new Garmin Nuvi’s don’t have it anymore. We liked that feature and would like it on our new GPS.

I will start work soon doing city delivery in a truck in my area, and I haven’t lived in the area too long. I need something that will save customer addresses for quick routing or rerouting to the location. Obviously, having a screen that is glare resistant and bright will help on sunny days, and a louder volume would be helpful too. I don’t see myself needing picture viewing, bluetooth, or an number of other gimmicy features. But something I can quickly enter in and find new locations, and keep an ever expanding list of stops, would be great. Thanks for your help!

I ride motorcycles quite often and can build the route i want to take Google Maps, but when i transfer them to my Nuvi 250w all I get a waypoints, then the unit calculates its own route (usually the shortest or fastest depending on settings). Neither of these is what I want when I’m looking to take a leisure ride using the back roads. Does anyone know of a GPS unit that allows the user to build their own route?

Is the Magellan the only one that say the exact road name rather than a "turn here"? Thanks.
