GPS Question???

I recently bought a magellan Explorest 500LE and When I turn it off and take it somewhere It shows a straight line from where I turned it off to where I turned it off. This is already done, and I’m not about to re-map the area. Is there any way to edit these out on the computer using Mapsend Light v1.00? Thanks

I don’t know about MapSend Lite, but one thing you can do is use the Save Track function (or whatever it’s called) on the GPS receiver and copy it to your PC. You can open the track log in Notepad (assuming you’re using Windows) and edit the track log there. Just look at the time stamps or lat/long coordinates and look for big changes in the values. You can then save these different legs of the track log to different files.
