I have a garmin nuvi 265w gps and when I transfer the new map into my gps it’s always the same old map can som?

can someone tell me what i’m doing wrong or not doing maybe i’m missing something I have a memory card in it to .
I did that and I found the 2010 updates in there but weither I have them checked or not my gps isn’t using the 2010 updates lol.
