Which is the better GPS device, Magellan or Garmin? Or is there another of better quality?

   I prefer Garmin. When I bought one 11 years ago, I actually bought a Magelian. It was clunky, very hard to use, etc. When I showed it to a guy I was working with, he said the problem is typical of Mag. So I took it back and swapped for a Garmin. Love it! I’m sure by now Mag has corrected their problems, but I still like Gar better.

   I prefer Garmin myself. I have used mine to check the lat/long of radio sites where other brands would not work.
