Which one is better Tom Tom or Garmin?

As far as price and reliability go which navigation system is better and is the most reliable? If you’re in the middle of now where would it know where you were? Which one is better?
I just need to know which one is more accurate and more reliable. I CAN’T FIND ANYTHING SO I NEED IT.
